SalaryOur Christian Homeless Outreach rehabilitation center in St. Paul, detailed at www.KingdomPathways.org, is in need of male Program Staff technician Full time or part time.
A heart for the homeless ministry and a desire to see homeless men succeed is all that's required in this long term rehabilitation center. Training provided. However, some experience is helpful and pay will be at market rates. The outreach is located near Lexington and University Avenue intersection in St. Paul. Please call Jim at 651-387-8393
Program Staff technicians at this rehabilitation center are to supervise residents and coordinate any activity. Modeling Christ's example, these staff are to be servant leaders, helping the residents in any way they can. They are also mentors, feeling free to mentor men as they are led. This position reports to the Weekday Core Staff.
Supervision for Program Staff Technicians at this rehabilitation center includes cleanliness monitoring, random breathalyzer checks of residents, random UA checks of residents, curfew room checks, and supervision of resident compliance to all Freedom House policies.
Coordination for Program Staff technicians at this rehabilitation center includes making sure assigned people provide adequate meals and cleanup. Coordination includes reminding residents about small groups, nurse meetings, mentor meetings, or any other activity near the time of these activities. It also includes making sure certain things get done that need to, such as donated food pickups. Lastly, Program Staff technicians coordinate volunteer activities (see Volunteer Duties sheet).
Serving the men throughout the shift for Program Staff technicians at this rehabilitation center includes passing out mail, providing snacks at appropriate times, providing for their basic needs as necessary (laundry soap, toilet paper, etc.), helping out with cleanliness of general areas, etc.
Program Staff technicians at this rehabilitation center are to reflect Christ, and be able to mentor a man as they are led. They are also to reflect Christ as they have the non-profit company phone on them and answer phone calls. These staff are representing Christ and the organization as they lead these men during their shift.
