Program Scheduler I

This role will support projects and programs across three separate divisions of the company, working closely with department Managers, Project Managers and Project Engineers. This role will ensure that project and program schedules and plans are integrated across company functional groups. It will also track plans and schedules, perform risk analysis, generate staffing forecast reports, identify, resolve critical path conflicts, utilize Gantt charts, critical path, variance metrics, milestones, and ERP to create and deliver reports to both internal project stakeholders and executive team.

Salary Range: $65,000 - $90,000 annual, Full-Time

Primary Duties

• Develops integrated master schedules and books project resources in our ERP system by utilizing project level IMP, SOW and WBS.
• Continuously engages with project team and managers to update schedules as variances occur.
• Works with project stakeholders across departments to understand critical areas while providing recommendations to deconflict scheduling issues.
• Reports critical path analysis, schedules risk analysis, constraints, and staffing analysis for both backlog and pipeline projects.
• Ensures project/program schedules/plans are integrated across the company.
• Creates/improves processes and systems to enhance project/company performance.
• Leads scheduling status reviews with project teams.

• Minimum of three 3 years’ job-related experience as Project or Program Scheduler
• Advanced working knowledge of MS Project or other standard scheduling software
• Basic understanding of different contract types (FFP, T&M, etc.)
• Proven ability to be subject matter expert in use of resource scheduling software, specifically able to generate meaningful charts/reports for project stakeholders & executive team.
• Good critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Proficient ability in solving complex problems with general oversight
• Proficient ability in developing/building plans for alternative courses of action or schedule recovery, as needed
• Proven ability to provide recommendations that offer the most favorable results
• Proficient understanding of and skill in using Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word)
• Ability to obtain & maintain a Secret security clearance

Desired Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience using OpenAir resource scheduling software
• Basic knowledge of Planning and Schedule Excellence Guide (PASEG) and Schedule Assessment Guide (GAO-16-89G)
