Overview: Reporting to the Associate Director of Client Services, the Transforming Mind & Body Recruiter is a temporary, part-time position that serves as a facilitator to connect clients to health, nutrition, and community resources. Services include recruiting, screening for eligibility, conducting follow-ups, goal setting, financial coaching, connecting clients to health and community resources, and tracking outcomes to clients enrolled in the Texas Health Resources program.
Major Responsibilities
· Screen clients for eligibility for the Texas Health Resource Grant
· Recruit clients from the Food Pantry, Adult Education classes, and potential community partners
· Follow-up on monthly cooking classes, one-on-one appointments, Neurocycle usage & any troubleshooting
· Work with Food Pantry Assistant to obtain groceries needed for the program
· Lead food distribution to appropriate location(s): Arcadia Recreation Center
· Facilitate with weekly orientations
· Use Microsoft Dynamics CRM to document communication, cooking class, and orientations
· Network with community stakeholders (libraries, community centers, workforce solutions, college admissions and human service organizations) to recruit students and food pantry clients
· Provide support as needed
Qualifications/Skills
· Bilingual preferred
· Experience working with databases or software to track and enter data/information
· Customer service or marketing experience
· Strong communication skills
· Must be detail-oriented
