(Contingent upon available funding): 117,000.00 - 160,000.00, Salary Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8-5, may work weekends and evenings Faculty Appt Period: Job Summary: We provide innovative support for emerging aerospace technology through research, scholarship, and service. This position will be responsible for managing assigned programs and program managers including overseeing program plans, project completion, and coordination with senior management, relevant parties, and customers. The position is accountable for professional development of assigned program managers and for supervisory oversight of the program management team. The position directs all program phases from inception through completion. Responsible for supporting the oversight of cost, schedule, and technical performance of project team through direction of the program manager. Coordinates and supports the preparation of proposals, statements of work, operating budgets and contracting. Supports Program Managers as they act as a primary customer contact for program activities and directs technical customer interactions through project leads working under the program umbrella. Monitors all program activities to ensure compliance with product specifications, performance requirements, schedules, and cost commitments. Identifies existing or potential program risks and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications. Directs the work of assigned program managers including technical, manufacturing, and administrative areas. May be responsible for business development within current customer base and/or for new customers. May travel for technology testing, presentation, or outreach events. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business
Five years of related work experience.
Must have excellent customer and stakeholder communication and negotiation skills.
Must have excellent oral, written, and presentation skills.

Master's degree in Engineering or Business
Six or more years of experience in related field.
