Program Manager - Warehouse
Job Summary:
The Program Manager will coordinate and direct the activities of personnel and equipment to complete the work in the most efficient and timely manner. The Program Manager will assist the Facility Manager in establishing warehouse performance objectives and strategic planning. They are also accountable for achieving prescribed company objectives regarding personnel development and expense control.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Responsible for a defined area or customer with the facility while coordinating with the program liaisons concerning activities and objectives that must be met on time.
- Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
- Complies with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; and advising management on needed actions.
- Safeguard warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
- Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; and reconciling with data storage system.
- Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; and following up on work results.
- Maintains warehouse staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
- Maintains warehouse staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by reviewing publications and establishing personal networks.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Follows and enforces all ISO, and HR policies and procedures applicable to warehouse operations.

Education and Experience:
- Associate degree preferred but not required.
- Warehousing/Supply Chain experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Able to stand for prolonged periods with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Ability to tolerate heat and odors.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Ability to work overtime and weekends based on business needs.
- Safely operate machinery within the warehouse (forklift, sweeper, pallet jacks, scissor lift, and etc.).
