Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Certification in Project Management Professional (PMP).
- 8 years of experience in program or project management.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience working with the US Public Sector and/or IT infrastructure, cloud and digital transformations.
- Experience in knowledge management, including training and related technologies within the US Public Sector.
- Ability to work in ambiguous and fast-moving environments, with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work with C-suite and executive leaders, with excellent influencing and communication skills.
About the job
In this role, you will be responsible for managing all programmatic phases (e.g., Initiating, Planning, Monitoring/Controlling and Closing) of an initiative. You will provide support to all GPS business units as required by program/project scope. You will be responsible for creating project specific knowledge articles and videos, organizing training around knowledge content, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure content is applicable and well-received by the field, testing standard operating procedures within specific applications, facilitating organizing content utilizing Google Workspace and other project management platforms.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $165,000-$248,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Apply Public Sector and cloud industry expertise across knowledge management, product, operations, financials to provide programmatic support to Google Public Sector.
- Develop skill set (e.g., strategic thinking, problem-solving, process, policy, industry expertise), specialize in specific areas aligned to business priority.
- Collaborate cross-functionally (e.g., across Business Planning, Sales, Finance, Agreement, Product areas) to shape complex issues (e.g., new strategic initiatives, refine project policies, field enablement, etc.).
- Contribute in developing and shaping a Program Management Office team including recruiting, onboarding, upskilling, managing the broader team.
