A leading tech company is seeking a Program Manager- Non-Tech. The successful candidate will leverage skills to implement operational systems, ensure a centralized knowledge management system, connect researchers/partners with research participants through different internal and external programs, manage external research partner company relationships, and problem-solve operational hurdles to enable all the researchers on the team to do their most impactful work. Program Manager- Non-Tech Pay and Benefits:
- Hourly pay: $50/hr
- Worksite: Worksite: Leading technology and data solutions company (Remote, Candidates must be located in the United States. Candidates must be able to work in Pacific hours.)
- W2 Employment, Group Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Retirement Savings Program
- 40 hours/week, 2 Month Assignment
Program Manager- Non-Tech Responsibilities:
- Tools and infrastructure: Keep track of all the administration of licenses and budgets for key research supplier tools (e.g. Usertesting, Respondent.IO, and others)
- Recruitment: Liaising with internal partner programs and external recruitment companies to build, maintain, and grow our participant recruitment program. Drive participant management process improvements and identify opportunities for optimizing workflows.
- Governance: Document our standard operating procedures, including data security and compliance. Managing data and access to data within tools, including customer information.
- Knowledge management: Manage our library of best practice templates and guides. Help the team to maintain our user roles framework and library of research insights.
- Budgets: Helping the design manager team with budgets and resources – partnering with our Design Studio business manager
- Partnering: Liaising with colleagues in similar research teams to share and use best practices (to avoid reinventing the wheel)
- Team support: Create, scale, and execute strategic programs to ensure the team is working at optimum efficiency. Partner with Research Managers on predicting roadblocks, identifying creative solutions, finding resources, and developing relationships with key stakeholders."
- Responsible for the business operations over the research operations tools and administration of licenses.
- Responsible for recruitment processes, drive process improvement, and liaise with external recruitment companies.
- Manage library best practices and resources, keep compliance with data security and privacy, and assist with budget management of the 3 design managers
Program Manager- Non-Tech Qualifications:
- 5+ years of relevant program or project management experience.
- 2-3+ years experience with ability to work independently and build relationships with peers and stakeholders.
- 2-3+ experience using MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, or other process mapping software.
- 2-3+ years experience with UX research or Design tools.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment that requires independent time management, task prioritization, and flexibility.
- Track record of operating independently, building relationships with peers and stakeholders, embracing ambiguity, demonstrating creativity, being detail-oriented, and delivering results in a highly organized manner.
- Experience in problem-solving and resourcefulness with a detail-oriented approach and organizational skills.
- Familiarity working within the UX Research field and participant recruiting methods.
