Program Manager, Learning Operations

Work Mode: Remote

Location: Remote at Kohler, WI

Kohler Co is seeking a Learning OperationsProgram Manager who will work in close partnership with Human Resources, and other functional and business leadership to develop and manage leading class learning solutions, ensuring that the team is both innovative and effective.

The Learning OperationsProgram Manager reports to the Learning Director and is part of the Talent Center of Excellence that supports an exciting array of work.  This is a unique opportunity to help build the future of Talent for Kohler Co, celebrating its 150th anniversary in 2023!

Specific Responsibilities

  • Create, implement, and manage learning needs assessment and methodologies to support identification & development of programs to support critical business needs.
  • Responsible for developing change management plans to ensure successful adoption of new processes, technologies, or structures in the learning space.
  • Collaborate with HRIT team to execute learning processes within our core HR tech stack, including testing and refining functionality for creating career profiles, LMS utilization and assessing potential skill gaps in the organization. Additional LMS responsibilities include:
  • Partner with the HR Digital Solutions Manager and IT to review periodic system updates and manage the change, communication, and training associated with the updates.
  • Train the pool of LMS admins within the organization and establish and maintain quality guidelines for the content being loaded into the system.  
  • Partner with the Global Shared Services (GSS) team to train and support GSS associates in their work to troubleshoot LMS system issues raised to them by Kohler associates.
  • Facilitate training sessions and workshops to train our trainers within the business or facilitate employee learning, ensuring effective knowledge transfer and understanding of how to complete individual and team talent development tasks.
  • Partner with the People Analytics team to gather, analyze, and report on learning-related data and metrics that will inform talent strategies.
  • Collaborate with KTA team members to ensure that talent processes are aligned with learning and development programs and initiatives and provide recommendations to seamlessly integrate for a holistic employee experience of talent development programs.
  • Manage and oversee the project execution of learning programs, vendors, and initiatives, ensuring successful planning, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and provide best practices to optimize learning programs and continuously solicit feedback from key stakeholders including HR Business Partners, IT, Operations, and Legal to deliver programs that align with business needs.
  • Partner with the HR communications team to develop and implement the learning communications and promotions strategy globally.  Own and maintain all Learning SharePoint pages internally.
  • Develop University and Trade School Partnerships that align with our Early Careers initiatives.  Establish and drive opportunities for associates to continue their education with a variety of options.
  • Establish and lead a Community of Practice (CoP) with Kohler Learning professionals globally to drive increased communication, best practice sharing, and support cross functional work.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills/Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Learning & Development (L&D), Organizational Development, or related degree program, or equivalent work experience with a minimum of 7 years of L&D experience.
  • 2-3 years of experience managing projects.
  • Learning Management System (LMS) experience and expertise; highly preferred for experience to be in cornerstone or workday. 
  • Vendor and contract management skills.
  • Project management skills.
  • Exceptional organizational and planning skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of associates and management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience creating dashboards; PowerBI experience preferred. 
  • Proactive; consultative; and can independently drive projects and initiatives.
  • Ability to travel 10%+ of the time.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience and knowledge of best-in-class Learning Operations practices.
  • Experience working in a global, matrixed organization.
  • Data analytics expertise and experience supporting the learning function in making data-driven decisions.
  • Internal communications and promotions experience.
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.

The salary range for this position is $110,050 - $140,200. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location. Available benefits include medical, dental, vision & 401k.
