Job description

General Description of Role:

Reporting to the VP of Compliance Assurance, the Program Manager will lead the advancement of the second "Line of Defense" process and systems capabilities in support of monitoring program implementation. This position will work closely with the other PAC Monitoring PM, Monitoring Analyst and Technology Enablement Leaders to understand, develop and implement new monitoring pipeline technical requirements to enable risk mitigation activities. The Program Manager will be responsible for capturing and translating the monitoring technical requirements into real-time insights by collaborating across the Equifax Technology organization to identify new risk data sources, automating analytics, and promoting sustainability of the insights for the Monitoring team. This role will also drive standardization of monitoring processes and policy framework and facilitate key initiatives to strengthen risk and compliance management rigor.

Skills and Responsibilities:
  • Supporting the implementation, growth and sustainability of the Compliance Monitoring program through the advancement of processes and systems, including:
  • Lead the advancement of processes and systems to enable execution of the Monitoring Plan through roadmap creation and execution.
  • Work with Monitoring Analyst to understand the business compliance obligations related to the monitoring pipeline priorities in order to lead development of the technical requirements.
  • Partner with Equifax Technology groups to translate monitoring requirements into necessary technical specifications required for build/support of reporting systems, e.g. data sources, data availability, etc.
  • Direct reporting automation and generation of real-time risk insights through the ingestion of risk data into platforms (e.g. BigQuery) and development of visualizations and dashboards in PAC's Business Intelligence (Tableau, Looker, etc.) tool.
  • Lead the design, development and implementation of the monitoring program structure within the Compliance Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) system in collaboration with the Compliance Monitoring team and GRC implementation leaders.
  • Assist in the development of the Monitoring policy framework to ensure unification across the team.
  • Facilitate other key initiatives related to the compliance monitoring processes and initiatives to mature the program.
  • Monitor and communicate program measures of success, plans, status, issues and risks in a timely manner to team members, stakeholders and management.
  • Direct resources, stakeholders and deliverables aligned across multiple interdependent projects within the program.


Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in analytics field, e.g. Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Mathematics/Statistics, Business, etc.
  • 4+ years of experience as a program/project manager in a highly technical environment.
  • Advanced analytical and quantitative reasoning, problem solving and strategic thinking skill set.
  • Extensive experience with data modeling, query languages (e.g. SQL), big data technologies (e.g. FireStore), and relational database platforms (e.g. BigQuery).
  • Extensive experience with data reporting, specifically with transforming complex data sets into compelling insights through data visualization software.
  • Knowledge and understanding of process improvement and/or change management methodologies.
  • Ability to inclusively work across matrixed teams to motivate team members and inspire action to develop creative solutions to technology challenges.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, rapidly evolving environment with the ability to navigate ambiguous and uncertain situations.
  • Ability to understand stakeholder needs in the iterative development of the program.
  • Experience managing projects spanning multiple disciplines, stakeholders, and technologies.
  • Strong communication skills with experience in presenting to technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels across the business.
  • Proficient with Google Suite and other common desktop applications.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% (post-covid).


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong experience in data & analytics, data governance or related field compliance or related field.
  • Experience working in enterprise risk and/or compliance fields.
  • Experience with Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) platforms.
  • Experience in the financial services industry.
