Title: Program Manager -Automotive
FLSA: Exempt
Location: Chicago, IL or Remote
Work hour: 8:00 am- 5:00 pm
Salary: $120K - $140K

The Program Manager will provide strategic direction and leadership to a team of Program and Launch Managers on overall project execution through direct interaction with cross-functional teams.
This position will ensure that clear timelines, on-time and complete deliverables, effective risk management, and all success metrics are met.
Remote is available; candidates residing in Indiana, Michigan, and Ohio are welcome. Must be able to travel frequently to the Chicago suburbs where the company is headquartered.

Responsibilities

• A reliable and standard production flow that meets customer requirements and profitability targets.
• Assesses, monitors, and mitigates risk throughout the life cycle of the program. Facilitates discussion with other Executive Team Members and gains support for needed decisions to maintain established program costs and objectives.
• This person will coordinate, oversee, and be involved in all manufacturing areas, from capability analysis, presale, process trial, and process verification.
• Liaison between Quality, our Commercial team, and key Customer contacts
• Oversee program launch from inception to post-launch period as Program Manager
• Assist the Business Development team in clarifying RFQ requirements, SOWs , timing, and budgets between the manufacturing facilities, the Product Development team, and the customers.

Qualifications

• Experience working in an automotive manufacturing/production environment.
• BS in Engineering, Automotive Technology, or a similar technical degree preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple projects across varying geographic locations simultaneously.
• Willingness to work in a strong cross-functional environment.
• Ability to collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Reliability, and Supplier Quality teams.
• Ability to explain complex problems to a wide audience through written and oral communication skills.
• Possesses a passion for providing exceptional customer service and ownership experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products
