PRIMARY DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervises and coordinates the work of employees who are within the program
- Ensures overall quality and productivity are maintained within the program
- Identifies and resolves operational issues
- Prepares work schedules, assigns work, and oversees the work product
- Prioritizes team tasks to ensure customer needs are met
- Provides assistance to meet schedules or resolve complex technical or customer
- Attains and applies a thorough understanding of the technical requirements of the Overmatch Software program to ensure that schedule is maintained, deliverables meet quality requirements and task is completed within budget
- Achieves program goals
Requirements
MINIMUM SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
- 2-5 years of experience overseeing programs including direction/leadership to others as a lead or technical specialist and application of complex, technical professional disciplines
- A strong drive to grow business and an exceptional customer focus
- Requires a four-year degree or equivalent and the extensive, applied use of related concepts, practices, and methods
- Requires an intermediate level of proficiency to apply broad knowledge and experience
- The primary or most necessary skills required for this job are problem solving skills. Other important skills include leadership, communication, analytical skills, and short-term and long term planning skills
- Must have excellent communication skills and the ability to interface with the U.S. Government customer
- Travel less than 20% to Charleston, SC, Washington, D.C., or customer requested
DESIRED SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
- Technical background in computer science, DevSecOps, Scrum Master, data science, engineering, programming, etc. are especially desirable
- Knowledge of the Navy Program Management and/or NIWC PAC culture and mission
