Program Financial Analyst

Job Description
ASRC Federal, is seeking a Program Financial Analystto support an on-going NASA program.
This position can be remote but must be within commuting distance to the Kennedy Space Center, FL metro area or Colorado Springs, CO metro area.
Key Roles:

• Provides financial support, at the direction of the Lead Financial Analyst, within one or more contract program management offices (PMO).
• Executes financial functions both independently and with close supervision depending upon the complexity of the task.
• Supports staffing planning and the task order budget and response process.
• Prepares internal and external financial deliverables, including reports, plans, and notifications. Prepares ad hoc analyses as required.
• Ensures invoices are accurate and submitted on time, minimizing program DSO.
• Completes project setup actions in accounting system, updating as required to reflect project changes.
• Supports budgeting and forecasting in accordance with objectives for growth and profitability; develops estimates at completion (EACs) for revenue recognition.
• Interfaces with internal and external stakeholders for the purpose of communicating project financial status.
• Implements, and administers Program Financial processes in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles, corporate policies, and Government regulations.

Requirements
Required:

• Bachelor's Degree is required in finance or related field.
• Two (2) +years of experience with Government contracting, financial reporting, and financial systems.

Preferred:

• Experience with fixed price and cost-plus contracts is preferred.
• Strong experience with Deltek Costpoint accounting system. Experience with IBM Cognos and IBM TM1 is preferred.
• Capacity to communicate and partner with cross-functional teams.
• Working knowledge of NASA/DOD financial management reporting.
• Working knowledge of NASA/DOD procurement regulations relating to contract administration.
