We have an exciting remote opportunity for a Program Finance Analyst - Tanker!
Pratt & Whitney is seeking a highly motivated individual for its Military Engines Fighter & Mobility (F&M) Finance Team supporting the Tanker program CFO. The position has P&L and Balance Sheet responsibility and exposure to P&W and Military Engines senior executives. The ideal candidate is an energetic, intuitive, self-starter interested in supporting and improving the accounting, reporting, and financial actual and forecasting processes.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare all financial support for monthly Tanker program reviews. Work closely with the program and the operations/supply chain organization to measure product cost and risk to the financial plan.
  • Support all financial activities related to the Tanker program including but not limited to financial analysis, monthly reporting and forecasting as well as the annual long range plan process (LRP), understanding monthly financial actuals, and supporting ME financial leadership.
  • Support quarterly analysis of EAC balance.
  • Ethically and compliantly ensure alignment with the program on all internal controls and standard policies.
  • Support negotiations with the US government or Boeing as it relates to all Tanker current and proposed contracts. Evaluate and substantiate all pricing and business proposals on future business.
  • Relentlessly drive process improvement leading to leaner and more efficient financial reporting.
  • Perform special projects and ad hoc analysis as required.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance and 5+ years of experience in accounting and/or finance; OR an Advanced degree in Accounting or Finance and 3+ years of experience in accounting and/or finance
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen - this position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Manufacturing and supply chain experience
  • Familiarity with FAR12 commercial contracting with USG
  • Experience working in an "actual cost" environment
  • Possess strong knowledge of SAP and SAP/Business Warehouse including ability to design and improve reporting using both tools.
  • Should be results focused and able to balance competing and changing priorities
  • Above average teamwork and communication skills
  • Excellent analytical skills including variance analysis (intellectual inquisitiveness)
  • Strong computer proficiency including MS Excel and PowerPoint

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
