Job Description
- Plan and administer overall program operation.
- Prepare, manage and maintain budget with the input of the administrative staff.
- Participates in meeting, negotiations, consultations with appropriate government agencies.
- Recruits and hires staff.
- Supervises staff accountable to Project Supervisor, including Assistant Director, Business Manager and Social Work Supervisor.
- Prepares required program or progress reports.
- Represents the agency in community and professional settings.
- With staff ensures resident and staff protection from harm, theft and personal injury.
- Provides administrative coverage when scheduled.
- Provides staff with opportunities for personal and professional development.
- Performs all other duties as required by the Executive Director.
- Master's Degree in Social Work, or similar advanced degree from an accredited University.
- Seven to ten years experience in social services.
- Three to five years experience in management and supervision.
- Demonstrated ability in staff and program management.
- Three to five years experience in related services.
- Relevant experiences may be substituted for any of the above.
- Spanish helpful.
