Counseling and Psychological Services
Counseling & Psychological Services is home to full-time psychologists, social workers, mental health counselors, treatment coordinators and a mental health education coordinator and we are fully committed to the health and wellness of our students. Responsibilities
Functions as the primary administrator for the electronic medical records system (Titanium) housed on a highly secure server (containing student medical information) ensuring continuous and uninterrupted service for both clients and staff. Provides recommendations with regard to client confidentiality and compliance with Florida Statues in the storage and maintenance of clinical documentation.
Oversees compliance efforts at CAPS. Serves as the quality assurance committee chair to design and oversee the implementation of quality improvement efforts designed to optimize the efficacy of services provided. Organizes and monitors the annual file audit review for consistency and quality of documentation. Reviews and updates the CAPS policies and procedures manual.
Conducts continuous utilization reviews of staff and client data. Assesses productivity and efficiency of staff clinical work. Oversees data collection and utilizes Titanium to run clinical and non-clinical reports.
Oversees system and maintenance of Thagard satellite office, and provides back-up management for Clinical Services. Serves as a Senior Management Team Member and is involved in administrative decisions, strategic planning, and the implementation of identified goals and initiatives.
Serves as the technology expert and collaborative point of content for IT issues, Titanium, and desktop support. Represents CAPS as a liaison to vendors regarding technology and assessment needs.
Qualifications
Master's degree in a mental health field (e.g. social work, mental health counseling, marriage, and family therapy) and five years of experience, or a Doctoral degree in a mental health field and three years of experience.

Qualifications

- Licensed in the State of Florida (Chapter 491, F.S.) to provide direct mental health counseling.
- Experience in solving problems, dealing with crises, and managing sensitive information.
- Experience and/or knowledge in data analysis.
- Customer Service experience and the ability to interact with diverse populations.
- Experience and knowledge in electronic medical record systems and querying databases.
