We have developed the world’s largest renewable energy feedstock plant and logistics hub located strategically on the US Gulf Coast nearby several worldscale oil refineries. We are seeking a Program Director in Engineering to add to our headquarters staff in Dallas to support the growth of the business through leading project execution, commissioning of new units, and optimization of existing ones. Candidates should have knowledge and/or experience in some or many of the following processes:
- High Temperature Vacuum Distillation
- Catalytic hydrogenation and hydrotreating of hydrocarbons and bio-intermediates
- Fluid dynamics and pumping of viscous materials
- High pressure unit operations
- Process Safety Management
In addition, the candidate should have demonstrated proficiency in project execution. This proficiency can be from large and small project execution and either from within past corporations or from working at an EPC or engineering firm. The ability to comprehend and manage several engineering disciplines in parallel (chemical, mechanical, electrical, civil, & environmental) and be successful in leading technical and construction groups forward is critical to being successful in the role.

We are one of those firms in the background making real progress on real issues in climate change. We expect our professionals to assume the responsibility of using the Oleo-X platform to accelerate change in how hydrocarbon fuels can be improved with bio-feedstocks and how petrochemicals can be improved or replaced with bio-sourced equivalents.
Requirements:
- BS, MS or PhD in Engineering is required (physicists, mathematicians, and other deeply rigorous quantitative disciplines may be considered under certain circumstances- please include in your cover letter how your academic and professional background provides equivalency)
- At least 10 years of professional work experience
- Knowledge of business processes and corporate finance are a plus
- MBA or MS in Finance in addition to time in Engineering roles is a benefit
- A passion for working hard and helping others achieve
- A commitment to developing junior and mid-level people
Job Details
- Position is based in downtown Dallas (West End) with expected travel (company paid) of 5 to 12 business days per month
- No remote work
- Starting compensation ranges from $135,000 to $165,000 commensurate to experience
- Performance bonus related to project execution
- Prefer US work authorization but exceptional foreign candidates will be considered
