The Program Coordinator primary duties are organizing, coordinating, and planning projects at multiple sites for Director, Managers, Supervisors, and staff.
Job Description
- Responsible for management of complex projects and designated business processes.
- Coordinates projects at multiple sites for Director, Managers, Supervisors, and staff. Complexity is defined by number of sites, affected staff, duration, creation and maintenance and required computer technologies.
- Facilitates and supports multi-departmental and departmentally specific projects, the scope of which includes development of materials related to projects and work plans, as well as development of computer activities in support of projects.
- Researches problems and policy applications for opportunities for business and quality improvements.
- Provides project coordination and administrative support to the Senior Level Management and Clinical Supervisors and their departments for all Georgia sites and for region-wide projects
- Management of deadlines and workflow
Additional Responsibilities:
- Utilize project management skills to manage standard resources, business processes, and regulatory documentation including clinical and non-clinical forms, scheduling of resources, intranet development, travel, and invoices
- Maintain current knowledge of regulatory standards for business processes and quality requirements
- Function as a member of team promoting working relationships within the team and throughout Home Services
- Provide support to other individuals on the team to meet department objectives
- Research and recommend solutions to business and quality problems and policies including troubleshooting and provision of information on technical, operational and software processes
- Complete data collection, data entry, statistical reporting and general correspondence in support of department programs, CHAPS and ACHC, and Service Excellence activities and requirements
- Orders equipment and supplies
- Schedules meetings, appointments, interviews and special events and conferences
- Serve as IS Liaison for field and office staff Create database, spreadsheet and presentation tools to manage or display data for reports
- Set up conference rooms and equipment Research and recommend solutions for service verification and potentially non-billable services
- Manage faxed medical orders and as well as other incoming and out-going faxes
- Assist Core Leaders with BambooHR Time Log reviews and checks
- Address staff Lap Top questions, operations and replacements
Qualifications:
Associate's Degree in Business -OR- related field and two (2) years business, medical or related field, experience -OR- three (3) additional years for a minimum total of five (5) years relevant work experience Two (2) years of experience as an administrative assistant or project coordinator
Preferred qualifications for this position includes:
Bachelor's Degree in Business or a medical administrative field
Experience in a health care environment
