KBFS department is currently seeking a Program Control Analyst II for our Huntsville, Al.
This is not a teleworking/remote position.
This is a Part-Time position.
Description:
The Program Control Analyst (PCA) works with an assigned Contract Administrator and the Finance & Accounting Department for the reconciliation of costs between Deltek Costpoint and the contract workbook as well as the implementation and utilization of Quickbooks at the commercial locations. The PCA prepares Individual Work Authorizations for the staff to identify proper contract charge codes, verifies timecard charges in Costpoint and Quickbooks against budgets, and initiates employee charging in Costpoint and Quickbook systems.
Responsibilities:
- PCAs enter and track data through SharePoint applications and maintain task products inclusive of an internal auditable notebook of task processes, product deliverables, and schedules.
- Additionally, the PCA establishes, maintains, processes, and updates files, records, certificates, and/or other documents as required.
- PCAs may also schedule meetings and conferences, interviews and appointments, and perform other duties related to contract requirements and schedules.
- Applies basic principles, theories and concepts, follows specific details and instructions to solve problems of limited scope and complexity.
- Provides project planning and control support for multiple contracts.
- Budget Assessments.
- Analyze cost and assess performance on multiple project elements.
- Develop and monitor budgets. Create/maintain program/project schedules.
- Develop monthly performance and cost reports to meet customer deadlines.
- Evaluate timecards in Deltek and Quickbooks to ensure employees are properly charging and implement into work plans.
- Create and maintain Individual Work Authorizations.
- Assign labor codes.
- Analyze the contract work authorization to develop the work plan for contracts.
- May be responsible for the supervision and mentoring of other employees.
- Other duties assigned as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 2 years' relevant experience required.
