Position Title: Production Worker (Laminator)
Location: Renton, WA
Pay Rate: $18.00 - $19.80/hr
Schedule: 1st Shift 5am - 4pm and 2nd Shift 3pm – 2am
4/10’s – Monday – Thursday
Summary
The Laminator performs a variety of techniques to laminate composite components according to drawings and Standard Work Instruction (SWI).

Tasks
- Lay-up composite materials on mandrels according to the manufacturing plan and SWI instructions; wrap mold with composite materials, in preparation for curing process, to form composite parts.
- Check for accuracy in all prior documentation of manufacturing planning; reporting all discrepancies and schedule concerns to the supervisor.
- Verify materials being used are according to manufacturing plan.
- Verify part ID tag and sign off on work performed.
- Adhere to schedules and time allowances, takt time, for production requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to read and understand detailed instructions and follow demonstrated steps.
- Ability to read and understand detailed instructions.
- Acute attention to detail.
- Excellent hand eye coordination.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
Preferred Experience
Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. Experience in composite manufacturing a plus.
Working Conditions
While performing typical duties of this job, production employees will experience the conditions noted below. PPE is provided to protect employees against physical harm or hazards in the workplace environment.
- Usually work indoors. These sites may not be temperature controlled.
- Exposure to loud sounds and distracting noise levels.
- Exposure to hazardous equipment.
- Exposure to contaminants.
- Shared workspaces with other employees.
- Requires handing objects of up to 50 lbs.
- Lifting pushing, pulling, and bending.
- Standing and/or walking for 8 to 12 or more hours per day (varies based on role, shift and overtime).
