Production (Woodshop)

Closets by Design is a locally owned franchise in Lakewood, OH. We design, manufacture, and install a complete line of custom closets, pantry's, home offices, garage cabinetry and more. Due to continued growth, we are currently seeking and enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our production team. We are looking to fill a position in our production team as 1st shift General Shop Production.

Prior Woodworking experience preferred, but not required, we can teach the right individual.

Production Worker Job Description:

• Read and understand drawings and measurements.
• Operate woodworking machinery, hand tools, and measuring tools.
• Understanding company product lines, machinery, assembly standards, and installation techniques.
• Follow quality and safety standards.
• Maintain shop and installation equipment according to an established schedule.
• Understand daily cut lists, production schedules, and installation schedules.
• Additional tasks or projects as defined by the Production Manager.

$15-20/hr also open to negotiation based around experience. Opportunity for Advancement.

Personal Requirements

• Experience with woodworking equipment and hand tools a plus
• Excellent problem-solving skills, able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Team oriented
• Reliable
