The Siemens Industry,Inc. distribution center in Roebuck, SC is seeking an entry level ProductionTechnician- Supply Chain Analyst to be an integral member of a diverseand dynamic team. Tour growing facility produceshigh-quality, make-to-order power distribution equipment for the UnitedStates. The position is responsible toassist the materials and logistics teams to ensure manufacturing's ability tomeet customer orders on time and in the most cost-effective way to meet ourfinancial targets as well. The key elements of this role involve:

  • Reviewing and reporting on dailyprocessing errors and distribute to relevant departments
  • Working with production and materialsteams to rectify errors and perform root cause analysis
  • Running daily missing stock report forproduction orders not released. Researchingcause and rectify when possible and/or work with production and materials forsolution
  • Running and reviewing daily open orderreport. Working with production,materials, logistics and customer service to ensure clean data proper materialmovements
  • Supporting management of materials andlogistics operations
  • Troubleshooting receiving discrepancies
  • Supporting inventory management andresolve inconsistencies
  • Working as liaison between focus factoriesand materials/logistics
  • Other duties as specified by leadershipteam

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Knowledge of production, logistics andSupply Chain processes
  • Four years of experience in Supply Chain,logistics or production
  • Must have excellent computer skills.
  • Experience with SAP and Microsoft Officeapplications with strong Excel skills
  • Excellent organizational skills, timemanagement and problem-solving abilities
  • Must have excellent communication skillsand the ability to work with others
  • Ability to handle tasks in a fast-paced environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience in related field
  • Lean manufacturing experience
  • Experience in SAP Warehouse Management Module
