Production Technician- Sanitation

Perricone Juices, a premium citrus juice supplier located in Vero Beach, Florida is looking to hire multiple Production Technicians (Sanitation) to join our team!

Pay Rate: $16.25 per hour + $500 SIGN ON BONUS!

• 5 Days per Week, Tuesday through Saturday (7:00 pm to 5:00 am)
• Some holiday work may be required based on production schedule

Production Technicians are responsible for:

• Sanitizing equipment and surrounding areas at the end of the production run. This includes conveyors and all machinery.
• Pressure washing various pieces of equipment.
• Walking the facility grounds daily and picking up any trash and/or debris and properly disposing of items.
• Emptying trash and garbage containers as needed.
• Sweeping, dusting, mopping, scrubbing and washing surfaces such as the warehouse and refrigeration equipment.
• Performs minor repairs such as patching holes and routine painting, cleaning and other related maintenance activities throughout the plant.
• Assist in packaging as needed to include packing and stacking product.

The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.

• Work safely around production equipment and in a manufacturing setting
• Arrives on or before scheduled start time to properly review duties for the day
• 18 years or older with a high school diploma or GED
• Must be able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
• Able to read, write and speak English, plus perform basic math
• Follow both written and oral instructions
• Works well independently and with a team
• Able to withstand cold and non-climate-controlled environment
• Flexibility to work different job functions and overtime
• Able to stand for long hours at a time, physically able to lift, carry and move up to 50lbs
• Successfully pass pre-employment screenings including a drug screen
