Job Opening: Production Technician

JEM Organics is looking to hire a Production Technician to join our growing company and work at our USDA Certified Organic production facility based in Bend, OR. You will be trained and participate in the key steps around the production of JEM’s ridiculously delicious products. In addition to production duties around dehydrating, stonegrinding and depositing, the position also involves general record keeping and facility sanitization throughout each process. The responsibilities will include closely following detailed operating procedures at each process to ensure JEM’s nut butter is always produced to the highest quality and food safety standards.

Other information:

● Starting Pay: $20/hr. After satisfactory completion of a 90-day training period, a review for further increase will be considered.

● 25 – 40 hours per week; M-F 8AM -3PM (hours may vary)

● Paid holidays and discounts on purchases of JEM products.

● Physical requirements – ability to lift 50 lbs.

● Computer skills preferred, record keeping and Excel experience a plus.

● Food manufacturing experience is preferred, but not required. We will provide training.
