This person develops improvements oriented at bettering quality, reliability, and lowering total costs. Skill sets are dependent on the area being supported: e.g., Circuit Board Assembly support may require Knowledge of the electronics and test systems.

PRE-EMPLOYMENT TESTING
External hiring into this position is contingent upon the successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen and background check and possible pre-employment physical and/or credit history review. Hach will consider qualified candidates with criminal histories in a manner consistent with the requirements of applicable local, state, and Federal Law.
The hourly rate or salary range for this role is $26.45 - $31.74. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Colorado. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus pay.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and implement technologies, methods, and techniques.
- Specifies and selects equipment.
- Provides direction for development, maintenance, and procedures.
- Coordinate the implementation of changes.
- Designs jigs, guards, and fixtures to aid associates.
- Provide consultation to other teams.
- Resolve problems.
- Provide training to associates.
- Actively maintain knowledge of new technologies, methods, and techniques.
- Must be able to setup, program and run Injection Molding machines.
- Must understand all aspects of the ChemKey cell and apply skills to run and maintain all processes.
- Must be able to work with all operators in a productive manner.
OTHER NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- B.S. or equivalent in related Engineering or Technology degree; or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum (2) years related experience in an appropriate manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Good computer skills.
- Must be able to troubleshoot/problem solve in a structured, logical manner.
- Ability to perform or coordinate preventive maintenance activities.
- Combination of office skills and hands-on activities.
