Production Team

On-Site INTERVIEWS - on the spot Interviews 11/30/23 and 12/1/23 10am-2pm. Starting pay $18.45/hr, potential for night shift diff and weekend pay. Get ready to bake some buns with us!
Where: Schwebels Baking, 121 W O'Neil Dr, Hebron OH 43025
Must have reliable transportation and able to work 12-hour shifts. We are open 365 days a year 7 days a week and holidays.

Duties

• As a valued team member, you will assist in our bakery to deliver fresh, quality products to our customers.
• You will assist machine operators in set up and monitoring of equipment.
• Team members in this role will monitor product quality according to company standards (proper size, color, texture, slicing, packaging, etc.).
• You will physically handle the product, materials, and equipment (pan trucks, baskets, racks, pans, product, etc.).
• Sanitation is important in our business! You will be expected to keep equipment and the work area clean and orderly.
• Safety is our overriding priority! All team members must properly wear personal protective equipment as supplied and directed by the company; wears uniform/clothing in accordance with GMP/ company standards.
• You will often be communicating and coordinating with other team members to maintain and assure proper product flow.
• Often our Team Members will assist other members of the bakery team where needed (breakdowns/emergencies, etc.).
• Performs sanitation, production, and/or shipping functions as required by plant supervision, as well as other duties as directed by plant management.
• Practices and complies with all company policies and procedures including safety and work rules.
• Performance of other duties as assigned by the Plant Supervision.

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Good work ethic and good attendance.
• Must be able to work holidays
• Able to perform basic math and computer skills.
• Maintain and follow all sanitation guidelines and practices.
• Must abide by The Schwebel Baking Company's Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's).
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Frequently bending, standing for long periods of time, kneeling, stooping, twisting, climbing and lift up to 50lbs..
