Roles and Responsibilities
- Leads team to execute production according to planning demands and appropriate standards.
- Prepares production orders and stages materials, equipment, and tools for employees.
- Identifies opportunities for improvement in critical areas of safety, quality, service, and cost and works with leadership and technical staff to ensure improvements are sustainable.
- Participates in professional development opportunities to broaden technical and leadership acumen for the betterment of the organization.
- Capable of grasping essential business drivers and applying this insight to their own tasks. Demonstrates a strong comprehension of how their team's efforts synchronize with other teams to enhance the overall area.
- Exercises a degree of autonomy within established guidelines to make decisions. Effectively resolves challenges by leveraging technical expertise and sound judgment within prescribed protocols. Seeks guidance from senior team members for matters beyond defined parameters or instructions.
- Strong interpersonal skills are essential. Treating internal customers with empathy and leaning into a team environment are required to achieve success. Proficiently communicates technical information to others.
Required Qualifications
- Exposure to a fast-paced production environment.
- Strong computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Excel.
Desired Characteristics
- Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
Job Type: Full-time Monday to Friday
Work Location: In person
As a part of the SKC Team, you will also be eligible for up to sixteen (16) days of paid time off (PTO) your first year and every year thereafter consistent with policy. In addition, SKC offers nine (9) paid holidays and one (1) paid floating holiday.
