The A Crew Production Supervisor is a member of the Manufacturing Production Team. They will lead the development, implementation and application of Tesla’s Production System. The ideal candidate has a proven record of success in the implementation and application of production systems in a manufacturing environment. They must have a broad background with the ability to work with engineering, production associates, quality, and suppliers across a wide variety of issues/ corrective actions identified in production and field performance. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are an absolute requirement to establish effective working relationships within Tesla and outside.

- Develop & maintain Standardized Work Instructions used in production by the production associates
- Support the development of Process Failure Modes Effects Analysis (PFMEA) to identify critical risks in the production processes with the Manufacturing Process Engineers
- Develop training programs and hire plans for production associates
- Support of control plans to assure critical features are controlled through the production process
- Manage production associates and develop the team structures used in the Tesla Factory
- Support issue resolution including root cause investigation & corrective action tracking
- Ensure quality standards are being met throughout the entire production process and support no defects from leaving a station or team area
- 3+ years in a leadership role managing direct reports (Military Veterans are Highly Encouraged to Apply)
- 5+ years of experience in fast paced, high volume manufacturing environment preferred
- Ability to meet deadlines and be accountable for quality/quantity
- Able to manage multiple tasks with competing priorities, establish and achieve goals
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and are able to work a flexible schedule, including weekday and weekend overtime
- Good computer skills, experience with Microsoft Office a must
- Must have command of the English language, both written and verbal

$80,000 - $216,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
