Production Supervisor

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Associates Degree and 5 to 7 years Supervisory experience. Mechanical aptitude required. Experience with injection molding; tool & die making; MRP/Inventory Control; Union Shop; Lean Manufacturing 5-S; and Quality Control. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

 
•    Responsible for overall direction, coordination of department consisting of approximately eight to ten employees. 
•    Inspects products for conformance. 
•    Directs setup and adjustments of machines. 
•    Studies production schedules.
•    Interprets company policies.
•    Enforces safety regulations. 
•    Interprets specifications, blueprints, and job orders to workers, and assigns duties. 
•    Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules. 
•    Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product. 
•    Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency.
•    Analyzes and resolves work problems.
•    Troubleshoot complicated equipment
•    Inspection and Maintenance – tool and die
