The Production Supervisor will oversee all aspects post-SMT operations and departments while evaluating the manufacturing process, personnel, and equipment to produce a variety PCB assemblies. Will be required to use problem solving tools and techniques to continually improve processes and eliminate defects.:
Responsibilities of the Production Supervisor:
- Directly supervises area leads and employees in the assigned area of responsibility
- Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Company’s policies and applicable laws
- Ensure production requirements are met while working with subordinate supervisors to address problems/issues
- Synchronizes labor to complete as much work as possible within timeframes
- Review production and operating reports and resolves operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operations delays
- Interprets specifications, blueprints, and job orders to workers, and assigns duties
Qualifications of the Production Supervisor:
- 7+ industry-related experience in the electronics manufacturing industry
- Prior experience in electromechanical assembly, thru-hole PCB assembly, conformal coating chemical/polymeric bonding
- Experience with RoHS and statistical methods required
- Strong leadership and coaching/mentoring skills
- Working knowledge of IPC-610A standards
- Strong attention to detail and focus on quality and accuracy
