Job Function:

The Night Shift Production Supervisor reports to the General Manager. This is your opportunity to use your experience with lean manufacturing to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our operations. The ideal candidate is bi-lingual English/Spanish and has relevantrecent experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Coordinates with related departments (scheduling, up and downstream production departments, order movement, customer service…) to flow product through the plant
• Ensures timely production and on-time delivery of product against master schedule
• Ensures focus on maintaining and continuously improving Key Performance Indicators
• Maintains strict adherence to safe working practices and standard operation procedures
• Meets daily as member of plant-wide supervisory team to coordinate efforts, work together, and improve overall operations performance
• Provides leadership to departmental team that mentors, motivates and encourages a positive, high-performance culture
• Implements progressive change and continuous improvement through lean manufacturing methodology and creative solutions
• Initiates appropriate root cause analysis and corrective actions in a timely manner
• Takes responsibility for training and developing personnel including corrective actions, performance reviews and performance improvement planning
• Works closely with other shifts to ensure effective collaboration, consistency of process, and smooth transitions
• Is a role model for demeanor, attitude, effective communications, and general work ethic
• Other related duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Degree in business, management, or related field
• Four years supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
• Two years of demonstrated experience implementing change / continuous improvement and lean manufacturing methodology
• Bilingual Spanish preferred
• Experience with AS400 a plus

2nd Shift: 3:30pm-12am, Mon-Fri (must be flexible to work extended hours during busy season including weekends)

• Supervisory/Manufacturing: 4 years (Required)
