Production Supervisor

POSITION SUMMARY

H&C Flex is currently looking for an experienced Production Supervisor who has exceptional supervisory and leadership skills to lead a production team of 35-45 hourly employees in Olive Branch, MS. This position will supervise and monitor employees’ productivity and oversee safe use of equipment in a manufacturing environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Meet production demand to satisfy customer orders
• Meet or exceed all production schedules and set goals
• Assign responsibilities to production employees
• Produce high-quality level of products for customer
• Maintain production equipment running and reduce unplanned downtime
• Monitor control and reduce all scrap or waste
• Ensure all employees are trained to work safely and efficiently
• Effectively coach and counsel employees
• Conduct shift meetings and communicate expectations
• Promote a safe work environment
• Maintain a positive and challenging work environment

SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITY

This position manages all production employees and is responsible for the performance management of the employees.

POSITION TYPE AND EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK

This is a full-time position working 40-45 hours per week, Monday-Thursday 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM and may include some Fridays, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM

CLASSIFICATION

Salary – Exempt (STOT)

Overtime straight-time pay at 45 hours

Full-Time

TRAVEL

No travel is expected for this position

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

· Minimum 2 years of experience
