Bachoco OK Foods is seeking aProduction Superintendentfor our Muldrow, OK location.
The Production Superintendentisresponsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the 2nd Shift.
Work Schedule: M-F 3pm-3am.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Make sure all safety standards are being applied.
- Oversees start-up and set-up.
- Coordinates all daily activities with supervisors.
- Makes sure products are being ran correctly (quality, packaging).
- Assures product quality and wholesomeness.
- Communicates with Quality, Maintenance, all shift production and Sanitation.
- Responsible for answering unfavorable variances with the plant.
- Responsible for USDA concerns.
- Takes care of employee issues and human resource issues.
- Schedules employees for company meetings (i.e. hearing tests, 401K sessions, etc.).
- Coordinates rework from freezer.
- Makes sure everyone is notified of schedule changes (production, maintenance, supply, and QC).
- Ensures highest quality standards are met for every product.
- This is a safety sensitive position.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Manages subordinate supervisors who supervise hourly employees in the plant.
- Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units.
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
- Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills:
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills:
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
- Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
- Must have a valid driver's license and be able to quality for the company's driver program.
Reasoning Ability:
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer Skills:
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Accounting software; Payroll systems; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
