Spiegelworld is looking for an experienced Production Stage Manager to join their team in Las Vegas, NV for the launch and run of their newest resident show "DISCOSHOW" which will be opening at the Linq hotel in the summer of 2024. 

Scope

The Production Stage Manager (PSM) has an outgoing personality, love of entertainment and provides a first-class theatrical experience. The PSM will be a key member of the team responsible for management and continuity of the show. This role looks after daily show calls, show systems maintenance, and offers support as a member of the team. The PSM will also liaison with general management, technical production, wardrobe, house management, box office and food/beverage staff. This position reports to the General Manager of Discoshow. 

Responsibilities

  • All duties customarily assigned to a Stage Manager on a first-class production during rehearsals and performances
  • Supervision and scheduling of cast and crew rehearsals, fittings, and PT services
  • Produce weekly Artistic schedule
  • Supervise the stage management team; include hiring, disciplinary action, and administer yearly reviews
  • Calling the show
  • Artistic maintenance of the production during the run
  • Overseeing company welfare, which will include assisting with company management responsibilities
  • Compilation of attendance records/payroll reports for cast and crew
  • Working in conjunction with the Production Manager on the technical maintenance of the production
  • Supervise the safety of all Artists and technician during rehearsals and shows
  • Plan and rehearse safety and evacuation scenarios for all emergency situations during rehearsals and show operations with General Management.
  • Actively engage in our antiracist commitment and internal practices by participating in offered learnings, engaging in conversations around Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Accessibility, and helping us maintain a safe and welcoming workspace
  • Other duties as assigned by the Company Manager.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of seven (7) years in stage management of live entertainment productions, preferably Broadway, theater, or showroom setting
  • Proven people management and development skills to be an inspirational leader to your team
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal
  • Must be team-oriented and self-motivated
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in an always changing, never dull, creative environment that creates memorable moments
  • Passion for ensuring you and your team deliver the highest standards consistently
  • Comfortable improvising in the moment as part of the constantly changing environment
  • Able to stand and walk for up to eight (8) hours
  • Ability to lift/carry 30-50 pounds
  • Must be comfortable working in an immersive environment with loud music, low light, and flashing lights
  • Able to work a flexible schedule with the ability to work all shifts, weekends, and holidays
  • Must maintain proper safety and sanitation standards
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
  • Maintaining any necessary licensing and work cards required
  • OSHA 30 & CPR certification
