Job Title: Sewing Associate
Reports To: Production Manager
Salary Range: starting at$15 per hour, increases based on experience;$250 signing bonus after successful completion of first 90 days!
Position Summary:
The primary responsibilities of this role will be to perform the sewing of leather headcovers. Trim work and final closing sew work is needed for this position.. The candidate will be required to burn holes and package product while maintaining a clean and organized work space and positive attitude.
Position Responsibilities:
- Sew trim work onto leather headcovers
- Final sew leather headcovers together
- Package product neatly in the appropriate manner
- Complete work orders to assemble prints onto products in a timely manner
- Check prints for accuracy as they are able to be placed onto product
- Maintain a clean and organized workplace
- Adhere to business procedure guidelines
- Ability to work 40+ hours per week
The ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate the following qualifications:
Experience sewing and in manufacturing/production facilities
High School diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred but not required
Ability to effectively work individually and/or in a team environment
Competency in performing multiple functional tasks
Ability to respond to frequent demands of high-profile customers
Willingness to submit to a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check
Position Details:
Position to start as soon as possible with training to start immediately. Shift is 7:30 A.M.-4:30 PM. Candidate must be able to work 8+ hours a day, stand on their feet for extended periods of time, and lift and carry 20+ pounds.
