Job Description
Essential Duties:
Productivity Review for Development Stage Product
- Review productivity and confirm the production process for the pilot line
Establishment and Revision
- Define detailed production process
- Identify production influence factors and define process conditions (4M) standards
- Standard conformance review
- Monitor the cell reliability test process continuously
- Confirm the process standards based on the PLM and set up the equipment operating condition through RMS
- Upload newly introduced process or change of the unit process to system
Defect Analysis and Quality Improvement
- Examine and consult improvement solution of chronic defects
- Examine and consult process loss improvement
- Examine and consult non-conformity problem of electrode semi-product and cell reliability
- Respond to and follow up to customer audit
- Respond to ISO/IATF certification and gate audits
- Make an inquiry and provide advice for the development and optimization of production-related IT systems (e.g. MES) and data verification system
New Process Development
- Plan and manage the investment budget for newly introduced process
- Develop new process
- Provide process documentation and operating instructions for the newly developed processes
Yield/Uptime Improvement
- Execute quality control through statistical analysis (regular review of SPC management standard, CPK review, etc.)
- Examine and develop measures to secure quality and yield while minimizing invested resource (cost, headcount, etc. )
- Review the quality impact and validity of process addition in accordance with production speed acceleration
- Optimize the production process through simplifying or reordering of unit process
4M Productivity Review
- Examine the quality reliability when 4M process change occurs
- Improve productivity of 4M product
- Review productivity of 4M material
- Review the material requirements considering loss in the process according to the designed production methods (M-BOM)
- Collect feedback on process outliers due to the productions methods change and take appropriate measure for improvement
Other Tasks Assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineeringor equivalent
- At least 1-3 years of relevant experience
- Experience with production management or production engineering/ battery, auto part, automobile industry with working knowledge of battery and quality control preferred
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office
