Form of workJob Title: Production Control Analyst (PCA) Production Planning Job Code: IMS20231411-108116 Job Location: Mason, Ohio Schedule: 9/80 REG; 1st Shift, Every other Friday OFF Pay Rate: $20-$21 per hour Job Description: Our team seeks a skilled Production Control Analyst (PCA) to join us at our Space & Sensors location. This person will be responsible for collecting and analyzing data and preparing reports including recommendations to meet internal and external demands for materials and finished goods. Essential Functions: Responsible for packaging shipments of completed goods against external sales order or customer demand.
Responsible for receipt of units in Lab, MES, database, creating E-File folders, creating travelers, and Cost Point processes. Perform necessary Cost Point transactions to allocate complete assemblies to upper-level manufacturing orders, complete reliefs of dispatched production on the operating floor, research Production Control issues and questions when asked by various supporting job functions. Responsible for transactions of nonconforming material within our quality systems and ERP systems.
Sets up batches using MES and takes on responsibility for operator requested assistance during production with MES or transactions necessary to complete production. Expedites flow of materials, parts, and assemblies within or between departments in accordance with production and shipping schedules. Requisition and maintain inventories of materials or supplies necessary to meet production demands.
Qualifications: Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. Preferred Additional Skills: Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods. Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
Analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems.
