Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Work as part of a mixed capability and mixed geography team to support demand/supply correlation and root cause analysis activities
  • Ensure success of the project by interfacing with various stakeholders (including procurement, supplier reps, and other relevant departments) to gather required data
  • Create and update line-of-balance reports which involves collecting, measuring and presenting facts to highlight cycle times, costs and milestones
  • Gather necessary data, create and analyze metrics, maintain appropriate databases, and send required reports to the customer and the supply base
  • Update relevant systems if there are changes in delivery dates or requirements
  • Review work completed by offsite team members to ensure quality of the analyses, reports, etc
  • Seek advice from subject matter experts when required
  • Report project status during regular meetings with the customer. Typical reports would include updates on project status, assumptions, roadblocks, information needed, and overall program health
  • Initiate root cause analyses of demand/supply issues and issue action items to correct
  • Track completion of action items, roadblocks, and escalations
  • Develop work instructions to ensure repeatability
Required Skills (Technical Competency):
  • AS or AA in Business, Accounting, or related field or equivalent experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and networking skills
  • Experience or familiarity with the manufacturing of hardware required
  • Proficiency manipulating data within MS Excel to create graphs, charts, and tables, including pivot tables, as well as general functions like VLOOKUP, required
  • Ability to create business correspondences using email and MS PowerPoint required
  • Experience with SAP required
  • Prior experience with Production Planning, demand/supply planning, or other relevant processes highly valued
Desired Skills:
  • BS or BA in Business, Accounting, or related field or equivalent experience
  • Experience working with remote teams in a collaborative team environment
  • Background in manufacturing Production Planning a plus
  • Experience in the aerospace industry a plus
  • Ability to express technical information in a clear and simple way
  • Work as a team member in a technical project environment. Must be self-motivated and able to think 'outside the box'
Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
  • Mix of Office and Shop Floor Environments.
  • Substantial amounts of telephone and computer work.
  • Heavily Regulated Industries with strict adherence to procedures.
  • Flexibility to meet business deadlines by staying late or arriving early.
  • Typical 8 hour days plus lunch / 40 hour weeks / core (required) hours are 9AM to 4PM
  • Ability to use personal transportation to visit customer locations.
  • Due to the nature of the work, all candidates must be a US Citizen.
