We are looking to employ a detail-oriented Production Planner to create, modify, and manage production schedule for our manufacturing facility in Phoenix. The Production Planner’s responsibilities include monitoring finished good inventory levels to forecast, regularly providing production status updates in QuickBase, and facilitating the timely delivery of products to our customers. The ideal candidate will closely monitor the production process to ensure that production orders are completed on time and within budget.
To be successful as a Production Planner, you have a high level of communications skills with ability to make complex situations simple. You are teachable to learn overview of systems, manufacturing capabilities and are focused on the details. Ultimately, an exceptional Production Planner should demonstrate excellent time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills to ensure that production operations run smoothly.
This position will be on site at our 17th avenue location in Phoenix.

Production Planner Responsibilities:
- Review sales forecasts and current orders to assess inventory status and upcoming production needs.
- Create / evaluate/modify/manage/publish a reliable and dependable production schedule.
- Verify resource availability (material, equipment, and labor) required for production to deliver excellent customer service at optimal inventory levels.
- Promptly addressing and resolving production issues to minimize delays in production.
- Recommending viable solutions to reduce production costs as well as improve production processes and product quality.
- Communicate status of item release through QuickBase
- Compiling status and performance reports and submitting them to management in a timely manner.
- Promptly informing the relevant departments of changes to current production schedules.
- Participate in the development and implementation of an improved Production Planning system.
- Other tasks as assigned
Production Planner Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business management, or related field is preferred.
- Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) accreditation or other relevant certification is advantageous.
- 1-3 years proven experience working as a Production Planner in a continuous flow operation.
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
- Sound knowledge of material requirements planning (MRP) and related software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication skills
