Our team in Fairbanks currently has an opening for a Production Operator
YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES- Production of batches of product via packagingoperations.
- Safe and compliant railoperations, including moving, chocking, offloading of railcars.
- Elevate supply and demand issues whenappropriate to the Branch Operations Manager and Operations Supervisor to assistin the resolution of issues.
- Continually cross train in other facility rolesto ensure ability to backfill roles as needed per request. Maintainqualifications and licenses as required.
- Ensure the highest level of product quality andpackaging, verify inbound and outbound product.
- Maintain facility and Equipment per SOPs andBranch Operations Managers directive with particular attention to salt andcompressor facilities.
- Maintain 100% compliance with PPE requirementsof role, including, but not limited to, proper use, selection, inspections,donning and doffing of required PPE.
- Represent Brenntag Pacific in a professionalmanner.
- Observe, follow and enforce all BrenntagPacific Policies and Procedures.
- Attend all required training when scheduledunless absent from work.
- This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or general education degree(GED) required
- Two years related experience and/or training.
- Bachelor'sDegree from a four year college or university is a plus.
- Must clear a security background check
- Must speak, read, and write English fluently
- Must be over 18 years of age
- Must have strong communication skills
