Acara Solutions is seeking highly qualified candidates to work ON-SITE with our customer in Melbourne, FL. Interested?
Here's what you'd do:
- The Line Lead is the first line supervisor of production associates.
- They are responsible for the routine communication of job assignments, training for specific product runs, and placement of associates in assignments as required for the day.
- They are also responsible for addressing issues that may arise during production, both production issues as well as quality issues. This includes driving root cause / corrective action for these issues.
- Take ownership of entire area responsible for
- Identify and drive manufacturing and quality issues to closure
- Monitor quality yields on a real time basis. Always understand what is happening in your area.
- Understand and use basic quality tools such as root cause & corrective action
- Complete a shift report daily that includes root cause and corrective action for both production and efficiency issues during the shift
- Follow and complete Leader Standard Work whiteboard every shift.
- Verify components on work order to ensure correct number of components are available for production
- Ensure all employees abide by the safety regulations
- Responsible to keep line clean of any debris at all times
- Review work order for assembly instruction
- Assign work to associates
- Train associates on the proper procedure to assemble products per assigned role for the day
- Perform line checks, and quality checks
- Read and follow build plan or other daily schedule to assign work duties.
- Ensure line associates clean up production line at end of shift.
- Escalate production issues to Production Supervisor or Production Manager as needed
- Perform other duties as needed or assigned
- Review workload and identify constraints. Flex work force to accommodate needs
- Ensure all proper documentation and processes required for the area are followed
- Ensure all required tooling is being utilized properly per process
- WIP Tracking (Fusion) must be used as intended
- Report daily activity (turnover report) / Note areas where action and/or recovery are needed.
- Uphold and exemplify the company's core values. Mentor employees to do the same
- Contact Supervisors immediately when company core values are not being followed
- Able to participate in a team-oriented environment, willingness to assist and train others
- Demonstrate safe behavior and support department/plant Safety goals in a continuous improvement process
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including overtime, weekends before and after schedule as needed
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees of the organization. Present themselves in an appropriate manner and act as a role model.

- Ability to learn and become comfortable completing different tasks on a frequent basis.
- Self-motivated / Self-directed. Able to work independently in a team environment.
- Performs other duties as assigned
