Production Job Descriptions

Industrial Department

Quilting / Grommeting / Lamination

• Quilting machine operator: On the job training in how to operate an industrial quilting machine
• Grommeting: On the job training
• Lamination: On the job training
• Must be good with repetitive tasks and quality inspection

Cutting / Stitching

• Cutting: Mark up product and cut product using various cutting equipment including manual and electric knives.
• Stitching: Working knowledge of commercial industrial sewing machines is a must

Architectural

Cutting (CNC Only) / Prep

• CNC machine operator: Prior CNC operating experience is a plus

Cutting (Table Saw / Panel Saw / Slitting) / Skids and Boxes

• Cutting: Prior table saw experience is a must
• Cutting: Prior panel saw experience is a plus
• Slitting: On the job training
• Skids and Boxes: On the job training

Lamination

• Machine operator: On the job training.
• Working knowledge of industrial water based adhesives and spray lamination lines a plus.
• Must be good with repetitive tasks and quality inspection.

Wrapping

• Machine operator: On the job training.
• Familiarity with industrial hot melt spray machines is a plus.
• Must be good with repetitive tasks and quality inspection.

Painting

• Machine operator: On the job training.
• Prior working knowledge of industrial paint spray machines is a plus.

All above require the following basic skills / qualities

• Reliable
• Detail orientated
• Fast paced
• Ability to lift minimum of 50 lbs
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately
• Safety minded
• Work with minimal direction once trained
• English or bilingual preferred
