We are seeking a skilled Production Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining production machinery, ensuring the efficient and safe production of goods. As a Production Operator, you will be expected to follow production instructions, perform quality checks, and adhere to safety protocols.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain production machinery and equipment according to established procedures and safety guidelines
- Monitor production processes to ensure efficient and smooth operations
- Set up machines and production lines with the necessary materials and tools
- Conduct regular quality checks to ensure products meet specifications and standards
- Identify and troubleshoot any mechanical issues that arise during production
- Document production and quality data, and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production output and efficiency
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
- Clean and maintain work area and equipment to ensure cleanliness and organization
- Comply with company policies and regulations at all times
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Proven experience working in a manufacturing environment as a Production Operator or similar role
- Knowledge of operating and maintaining production machinery and equipment
- Familiarity with safety protocols and guidelines in a manufacturing setting
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Good problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects when necessary
