Adecco is assisting their client with their search for a Production Operations Manager.
Type: 40hrs/wk. Contract
Start Date: 1-2 weeks
Location: LAS VEGAS NV 89115
Pay: $28.85 hrly
Duration: Long Term (possible temp- to -hire)
Shift: 3rd Shift ( 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM )
Description:
• Monitor and maintain safety procedures and conditions to prevent accidents and provide a safe workplace.
• Supervise remanufacturing technicians on 3rd shift, to include hiring, employee communications, training, discipline, evaluation, and performance counseling responsibilities.
• Drive customer satisfaction through detailed focus on product reliability. Provide direction and support for an hourly production team encompassing EHS, Quality, Materials, and Process.
• Help motivate all employees in his/her production team to perform their duties using established procedures to meet or exceed goals.
• Planning, creating, and executing production plans for the shift, based on the facility's build plan, customer requirements, manpower (hours) and equipment availability, part availability, and development of recovery plans when output goals are not met.
• Lead and support of Continuous Improvement Activities.
• Ownership of the shifts equipment, tooling, fixtures, key manufacturing processes, products and productivity.
• Ensure all company policies are followed and take corrective actions accordingly.
• Work to develop and execute training plans for all operators to ensure they have the skills needed to do their jobs and are sufficiently cross trained to optimize resource usage safely and correctly.
• Provide clear and accurate communication to the work group. Ensure that follow-up on issues and concerns are addressed in a timely manner.
• Troubleshoot and solve operation problems when identified.
• Promote culture of teamwork, continuous improvement, and collaborative problem solving.
• Identify opportunities to increase employee engagement, motivation, and collaboration across shifts.
• Responsible for all Time and Attendance functions for the shift.

Pay Details: $28.85 per hour
