Adecco Search has  partnered with one of their favorite clients in hiring for a Production Manager in Odessa.
Position Summary:

We are seeking a results-driven and detail-oriented Production Manager to oversee our manufacturing operations and ensure the efficient production of high-quality products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving production to meet goals, coordinating with various departments, and ensuring timely delivery of products to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement production schedules to meet production targets and customer demand.
  • Supervise and lead production staff, including hiring, training, and performance management.
  • Monitor production processes and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.
  • Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure timely availability of raw materials and resources.
  • Coordinate with the engineering team to implement production processes and resolve technical issues.
  • Manage inventory levels to optimize production and minimize waste.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Analyze production data and generate reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Communicate production goals, schedules, and expectations to production staff and other relevant departments.
  • Work closely with the quality assurance team to maintain product quality standards.
  • Resolve production-related issues and address any delays or disruptions to ensure on-time delivery of products.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience in production management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and coach production staff.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Solid understanding of production processes, quality control, and inventory management.
  • Proficiency in production planning and scheduling software.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in manufacturing.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
