United Land Services (ULS) is a premier full-service landscaping company, offering a wide range of commercial landscape installation and maintenance services. Our expertise extends to landscape design, maintenance, irrigation systems, hardscapes, and outdoor lighting. We cater to a diverse clientele, including single-family home developments, condominium complexes, commercial buildings, and shopping centers.
We are currently seeking a dedicated Production Manager to oversee our landscaping operations. This role involves ensuring the delivery of quality, cost-effective services to our clients, collaborating with Account Managers for exceptional customer service, and managing efficient estimating and effective budgeting.
Responsibilities
- Understanding client needs through regular communication with Account Managers.
- Ensuring job site quality and appearance meet both client and company standards.
- Managing all landscape services, including coordination of materials, personnel, equipment, and subcontractors.
- Inspecting properties before scheduled services and preparing action plans as necessary.
- Monitoring and identifying issues with irrigation systems, landscape health, insects, or diseases.
- Assisting crews as needed to meet work demands.
- Enforcing company policies related to safety, equipment upkeep, storage, and training.
- Collaborating with Account Managers to identify staffing needs, hire crew members, and schedule daily work.
- Overseeing employee training, development, counseling, and disciplinary actions.
- Providing hands-on training and support to crew members.
- Maintaining safety standards and records.
- Managing required paperwork and Aspire entries.
- Ordering materials, monitoring costs, and deliveries.
- Managing and mentoring direct reports within your division.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma and a minimum of 3- 5 years of progressive maintenance landscaping industry experience, including at least two years in a leadership role.
- Valid state driver’s license.
- Bi-lingual communication skills are a plus.
- Solid knowledge of landscaping equipment, tools, and machinery.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong listening skills with patience and empathy.
- Highly motivated, well-organized, detail-oriented, creative, and innovative.
- Effective time management skills with a sense of urgency.
- Computer proficiency.
