We are an entertainment company based in Downtown Dallas, TX supplying entertainment to high-end weddings, charity events, and corporate events. We are seeking a Production Manager to manage the production elements (audio focused) and production staff of the company.
To be successful in this role, you should be well-organized, have great time management skills, extreme attention to detail and be able to act efficiently and without guidance. You also need to be able to manage a team of audio engineers, understand the intricacies of mixing audio on a live show, and know how to troubleshoot audio problems when they arise immediately.
This position also includes potential travel to luxury destinations to oversee and mix audio on events.
Responsibilities
- Manage up to 20 audio engineers and third party vendors, which includes scheduling them on shows, communicating to them what is needed for the show, and hiring them for production work during the week
- Troubleshoot audio problems on show days (often Saturdays and up to 35 shows on peak seasons per weekend)
- Solicit feedback from audio engineers about their shows on a weekly basis (up to 35 shows)
- Attend production meetings when requested
- Recruiting/Training new audio engineers
- Managing audio equipment and inventory
- Source production on international events
- Communicate with clients who have production related questions
