Position Overview:
Support FXI Terrell plant in manufacturing areas: production, maintenance, and engineering assurance to achieve company objectives through experience in the administration of the product, process, and personnel. Interact with the internal and corporate management team and maintain customer relations.
Production and Quality Management:
- Direct and coordinate production and quality efforts at the Terrell TX facility.
- Monitor all engineering changes on routes, implementation of standards, and data logging.
- Determine priorities with the Plant Manager and implement projects for cost reductions.
- Define processes, including design tooling or de-poke yokes fixtures.
Safety and Budgeting:
- Coordinate safety meetings with the human resources department and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Prepare departmental budget in conjunction with the plant manager.
Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement:
- Assure the implementation and maintenance of IATF 16949 requirements.
- Initiate and identify actions to prevent nonconformance related to product, process, and quality system.
- Adhere to quality and production programs.
- Establish multidisciplinary teams for continuous improvement.
- Identify and implement improvements for waste reduction.
- Identify and implement improvements to increase labor efficiency.
- Maintain and improve morale and discipline of plant personnel.
Project Management:
- Assume special projects assigned by superiors.
- Follow-up maintenance systems with maintenance supervisor/manager to preserve the integrity of equipment, machinery, and facilities to guarantee product functionality and quality.
Leadership and Customer Service:
- Strong cross-functional leadership ability for defining, achieving, and validating meaningful objectives.
- Assure the required level of customer service in terms of quality, delivery, and cost.
- Team development, including selection, training, performance management, promotional recommendations, and work scheduling.
Analytical Skills and Decision-Making:
- Reviews and responds to project/loss statements, operations reports, and performance records to ensure expected performance levels.
- Able to make quick decisions or apply thorough analysis as appropriate.

Experience/Education:
- Bachelor Degrees - Business or Engineering
- Two or more years’ experience in manufacturing operations management roles
- Ability to lead and manage teams
- Analytical ability to interpret client requirements
- Previous experience in the automotive industry preferred
- Focused on multifunctional teams & ability to collaborate with different functions
