Job Title:Production Manager - Audiovisual

Location: Roaring Fork Valley - Glenwood Springs to Aspen

Job Type: Full-Time Seasonal (Summer Season - May 1, 2024 start)

Job Salary: Hourly based on experience

Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Manager to oversee our diverse range of audiovisual productions. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for technology, a knack for problem-solving, and the ability to lead and inspire teams. The Production Manager will play a key role in driving the success of our events and productions, ensuring high-quality outcomes and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and coordinate audiovisual projects, setting clear timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Utilize technical expertise in audiovisual equipment and technology to ensure the highest quality of production.
  • Lead and manage technical teams, including sound engineers, lighting technicians, and video producers.
  • Engage with clients to understand their needs, providing effective communication and ensuring their vision is realized.
  • Tackle challenges with a problem-solving mindset, adapting to unforeseen circumstances during live productions.
  • Uphold high-quality standards in all aspects of production, from setup to execution.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all production activities.
  • Manage the production budget, negotiating with suppliers and controlling costs.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a similar role in the audiovisual industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge of audiovisual equipment and technologies.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and solve problems effectively.
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations in the industry.
  • Budget management experience.
  • A degree in a related field (e.g., Audiovisual Communications, Production Management) is preferred but not required.
