Production Manager
Position Summary: Key position as the Production Manager, where you will oversee the operations, including Molding, Finishing, Assembly, and Inventory Management.
Your goal is to lead the team collaboratively to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity goals with a team player mentality.
Responsibilities:
- Mentor and coach employees for improved performance with genuine enthusiasm.
- Examine processes to optimize resource utilization with an innovative mindset.
. Efficiently assign and prioritize work schedules.
- Meet daily production schedules and uphold a commitment to timely product and service delivery.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives.
- Continuously reduce scrap year over year, analyze production costs to identify areas for improvement, sparking enthusiasm for efficiency.
- Ensure inventory accuracy and compliance with inventory management with precision.
- Oversee tooling maintenance and ensure timely equipment calibration with dedication.
- Create and manage the department’s budget, infusing excitement into financial management.
- Consistently apply performance management policies, turning challenges into opportunities for growth.
- Ensure completion of employees' training with a commitment to continuous development.
- Coach and develop the next level of operations/production management and staff with passion.
- Ensure a safe plant operation in compliance with ISO codes of practice, promoting a culture of safety.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, technical field, or business management.
· Molding experience is a MUST!
· Demonstrate experience in process improvements with a passion for efficiency.
· Combine formal training and experience in lean practices, operations management, and business acumen.
· Possess strong leadership and organizational skills with a dynamic approach.
· Exhibit excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written, verbal, presentation).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $120,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
