The Production Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing our production processes, ensuring that all policies and procedures are diligently followed. This position is accountable for various aspects, including controlling manufacturing costs, maintaining quality and quantity of production, optimizing production methods, effectively utilizing production hours, skills, machinery, equipment, and facilities. Additionally, the Production Manager is responsible for planning the production schedule, determining staffing requirements, implementing manufacturing controls, and providing valuable expertise to other departments. This role also involves setting production priorities and directing the development of an assigned team.
What You’ll Do:
- Direct and manage production
- Coordinate activities through the planning and departmental managers to ensure manufacturing objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost effect manner.
- Develop plans that optimize resource utilization by implementation of an effective production organization and adhere to the approved budget.
- Serve as continuous improvement champion for the production department.
- Responsible to provide direction and coaching/development and leadership to the production team.
- Support quality systems and serve as the management representative for quality.
- Monitor production standards while ensuring products are produced on time.
- Incorporate shop floor organization and plant cleanliness among plant personnel

What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Operations, Engineering or a related field or a combination of education and experience to effectively meet the needs of the position
- 10 years management experience in a manufacturing environment
- Background with manufacturing methods, process improvement programs, and procedures.
